“Warm hospitality and lip-smacking delicious local food”
“Our first visit ever to Sri Lanka got off to a great start when we got here early in the morning. Our room was being cleaned so Momma welcomed us with a hot pot of tea and amazing selection of hoppers and curries. In the days to come, my wife and I were to be coddled with some of the best home-cooked food we’ve ever tasted. We’ve known from past reviews that Momma’s cooking is wonderful but we were still blown away by her extraordinary culinary skills. Her dishes were cooked with a whole lot of love and we’re also really glad to bear witness to the gracious hospitality and warm friendliness we received from this family. I’d venture to say that Momma’s culinary prowess are Mirissa’s best-kept little secret. Not for too long, I hope..se contact us and confirm your participation prior to the sessions and feel free to ask any questions regarding the cooking sessions”.
“We just loved the place!”
“We have stayed at Shehan in Mirissa twice. December 2012 and one year later.
It is very nice. A very warm and helpful family, who wants to do everything for you.
Mama makes the very best tasting Rice and Curry. You must try it!
Can also recommend to join Mamas Cooking Class.
The guesthouse is not far from the beach. The perfect place to stay – so easy to live!
We would very happily return to Shehan again!”
